A Witch Central Wedding A Modern Witch Morsel eBook Debora Geary
We begged and pleaded and Debora Geary delivered a truly enjoyable gift. This book is meant specifically for people already familiar with Witch Central. It is always the beautiful sense of family and community that draws me into Geary's work. Her characters feel so real, that you almost expect to bump into them, or to discover that, perhaps, you might actually be a witch, too. I thoroughly enjoyed this tasty tidbit about the characters many of us truly love.Anyone who is not familiar with Geary's previous works need to start with A Modern Witch and get reading!

A Witch Central Wedding A Modern Witch Morsel eBook Debora Geary Reviews
I have read the entire Modern Witch series by Deborah Geary, in rapid succession. I borrowed the first book in the series through the Lending Library, and became so interested in the “community” of characters that I had to immediately purchase the next one, and continue lending and buying my way through the entire series, as well as the with wedding story.
These are wonderful books, with extremely well developed characters, and a good moral foundation. These are not wimpy fairy stories, and some of the social issues in the stories are difficult. I especially appreciate that Ms. Geary uses talent and good writing to build her story, and doesn’t rely on sex and profanity to express her character’s passions and challenges. How refreshing to read well developed stories that so strongly support the dignity of the individual human person and demonstrate the importance of empathy and compassion. Well done, Debora Geary! I am continuing to read everything you have published, and I heartily recommend them tom others interesting in great stories.
Because I am recommending the entire series, I am adding my review to each and every book in the series. They are that good!
Instead of writing a review on each book, I'm writing one large(r) review that encompasses all seven books in this series.
Probably like you, chose some books that were "similar" to other books I had purchased. Debora Geary's series were just that; chosen "just for me" by . Can I just say, "THANK YOU!" to ? I have rarely enjoyed a series this much to the point where I finished book one (A Modern Witch) and promptly bought books 2 through 7 and the Witch Light Trilogy shortly after completing the first book.
It would be easy to tuck these books in the "fantasy" section of a library. That would be a mistake as they primarily deal with the relationships and the layers of personality; to the point where you can honestly believe these are real, living breathing people.
I have not found an author who has touched upon somewhat taboo subjects of mental illness (A Lost Witch), autism (A different Witch), and homosexuality (mainly A different Witch, but it is touched on in the other books in this series). She also deals with foster children (A Reckless Witch) and having to come to terms with and live in your own skin (A Hidden Witch). As a now "middle-aged" (eek) woman, I found Cassidy Farrell's quest for love (A Celtic Witch), hearth, and family very apropos (come on, who hasn't heard that it's easier to get struck by lightning than to be over 40 and get married).
Each of the above topics was dealt with in such a wonderful, touching way that they didn't jump out and bash you over the head. Instead, these were just aspects of the many facets of the character and you just accepted them and grew to love and care about them. I shed unabashed tears over several of the books and, in particular A Lost Witch.
Debora Geary's character development is very similar to Nora Roberts or Linda Howard. They are deeply developed characters and I'm sure you could ask Ms. Geary what Marcus' favorite color was and she could respond without a blink of the eye - so thorough are these characters written. They all come alive as you read about them and I was happy to read about two characters (Lizard and Elsie) that were just briefly introduced in the Modern Witch Series in their own trilogy; Witch Light Trilogy. I am sure I can happily confess to you that I cried over Lizard's triumph as she recited poetry to people who had accepted her for what she was; not the tattooed covered, angry imp she showed to the outside world.
Ms. Geary gives us characters to love, stories to immerse ourselves in, and gently reminds us to not judge a book by its cover (pun intended). I cannot wait until more Debora Geary books come out and plan on purchasing them strictly on the author's name alone - something I reserve strictly for my favorite authors; of which now Ms. Geary has been added. I give all these books a full five-out-of-five stars, read them, they won't disappoint!
Thank you for doing as we asked! Lauren & Devin's wedding.
Read the books in order, though

Debora is AMAZING!!! I love her series! She really understands people and the magic and love are wonderful to "watch" (read).
